Data on textiles, from a limited supply to the world's top spot
At present, the total amount of fibre processed in China is stable at more than 60 million tonnes.

In 2001, China's textile and garment exports accounted for 14.83 per cent of the world's exports, rising to 26.1 per cent in 2008, making its position as the world's top textile and garment exporter even more secure.
